Also papers of her husband, Clavin Andre Claude (1910-1988), professor of Romance languages and writer on Louisiana folklore. Includes correspondence and folklore writing.

Also some material pertaining to her grandfather Thomas Hayes. Hayes was president of the Temperance Society in 1883; and some material pertaining to her son by a previous marriage, William Rivera.
