Parking at Jones Hall is sometimes troublesome. Except for metered spaces, Tulane University requires a parking permit between 8 AM and 7 PM Monday through Friday. On weekends and times not listed, parking permits are not required. 

You may purchase guest parking for $5.00 per day at our Public Safety/Traffic Office on the first floor of the Diboll Complex. Guest permits are required Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

If you are planning to drive to Special Collections, we encourage you to review the Tulane Parking and Traffic Regulations for our uptown campus.

There are a few metered spaces in front of Jones Hall and in front of the University Center about three blocks away. There are more metered spaces in Tulane University's two parking garages, both located near the Reily Center six to seven blocks from Jones Hall. The Reily Center Parking Garage has 60 metered spaces. The Collins C. Diboll Parking Garage has 24 metered spaces on the first floor.

Handicapped spaces are available both in front of and behind Jones Hall. A ramp and handicapped accessible entrance is located at the rear of the building next tot he loading dock.

As the Loyola University Parking Garage is located just two blocks from Jones Hall, it is often the most convenient place for researchers to park.
