Scope and Contents: The collection consists of materials that reflect Andre Brown Moore's many different roles in public and private life. There is correspondence and photographs from Moore's time as a Judge Advocate on General Patton's staff. Also included are biographical materials and the papers of other family members. Moore was a member of the Boston Club and active in Mardi Gras, which is represented by correspondence, clippings, and administrative records. Speeches, correspondence, clippings and campaign materials illustrate Moore's political career. Moore's participated in business dealings with Tidelands Life Insurance Company, Robert Oil Company, and Pan Air Corporation, which is evidenced by financial records, annual reports, and correspondence. He also held offices at Trinity Church in New Orleans, serving on committees and representing the church at conventions. There are also numerous proclamations and awards given to Moore.
