- Correspondence, briefs, petitions, and notes for suits and other legal matters that McConnell handled. These are arranged alphabetically according to the name of the person McConnell represented. There are a number of items relating to maritime cases that McConnell, Sr., tried; and for the period 1930-1933, McConnell, Jr., as attorney for the insurance firm United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company, handled several cases involving Louisiana Act 20 (1914)--the Workmen's Compensation Law.
