Biographical Note

The Metairie Woman's Club was founded in 1939 to promote civic, social, and philanthropic work among women in Metairie, Louisiana. Membership is restricted to women living in the eighth ward of Jefferson Parish and membership is limited. The club is non-partisan and non-sectarian.
