Scope and Contents of the Materials

The collection consists of the records of three Maduell family businesses dealing with electronic equipment sales and/or service. The companies were called Delta Electronics, Louisiana Quik-Chek, and Minute Men Service Company. There are minutes, correspondence, certificates, balance sheets, ledgers, receipts, stock certificates as well as a brief history of the firms by Charles Maduell, Jr. In addition, there are five articles about the Maduell family, the Viosca and Percy families, the d'Aquin family, and Ulloa and the Acadians.

Biographical Note

The Maduell family owned three electronic equipment sales and/or service businesses during the mid-twentieth century. The companies were called Delta Electronics, Louisiana Quik-Chek, and Minute Men Service Company. The Maduell family is related to the following families and peoples: Viosca, Percy, d'Aquin, Ulloa, and Acadians.
