Biographical Note

Leon Polmer of Schreiver, Louisiana, was the father of Irwin F., Mervin J., and Naptali H. Polmer. Members of the Polmer family created the Polmer Brothers Mercantile Company, a small country store in Schriever that existed in the late nineteenth century.
