Historical Note: A native of Randolph, Mass., Amy Howard Wales Bullock received B.A. and PhD. degrees from Boston University. She was poet laureate of the Louisiana Federation of Women's Clubs. She lived in Massachusetts, California, New Mexico, and Louisiana, and married Reverend Ernest N. Bullock of Lake Charles, La., an Episcopal minister.
