Name: Winsor, Daniel Loring, b. 1804.

Historical Note: Daniel Loring Winsor, born in 1804, was a ship captain of the Coliseum and agent for T. Magoun & Son, Boston. Captain Winsor operated out of Boston and New Orleans; he sailed to ports in England, Denmark, Russia and Cuba. He and his wife had homes in Duxbury, Massachusetts, as well as New Orleans, Louisiana. They were parents of at least two children.
