Name: Kmen, Henry Arnold.

Historical Note: Henry Arnold Kmen was a member of Tulane University's history faculty and introduced the Black Studies Program at Tulane in the 1960s. He contributed to a number of professional journals and was the author of Music in New Orleans: The Formative Years, 1791-1841.
