Name: Hincks family.

Historical Note: John W. Hincks was married to Lise Lambert and they had two children, Leda Hincks, who married Charles Edward Schmidt, and Joseph Anatole Hincks, who served in the Confederate Army. Eliza Miskell Olivier, daughter of David Olivier, married Joseph A. Hincks, Noel, Destrehan, and Anatole Peychaud. She had two sons, John and David Hincks, by her marriage to Joseph Hincks. The daughter of Leda Hincks and Charles Edward Schmidt, Louise Schmidt, married Hugh de la Vergne and later Henry J. Landry de Frenuese.
