Historical Note: Tulane Studies in Zoology was a publication of the Tulane University Department of Zoology. It was devoted primarily to the zoology of the area bordering the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. The publication was established in 1953 during Fred R. Cagle's tenure as Chairman of the Department of Zoology.
