Historical Note: The goals of the New Orleans Round Table of the National Conference of Christians and Jews were to teach the community about the brotherhood of man and to share the experiences of World War II. Its first Jewish co-chairman was Leon H. Rittenberg. The National Conference of Christians and Jews was founded in 1927 to bring diverse people together to address interfaith divisions.
