Name: Swigart, Elise Allain.

Historical Note: Elise Allain Swigart (1892-1982), was a New Orleans native who attended Newcomb College and did genealogical research on the Allain and Swigart families. She was able to trace the Allain family back to 1786 and seems to associate the Allains and Swigarts with the Louisiana Acadians and Creoles.
