Historical Note: Dr. Richard Ray Kirk (1877-1951) was an author, poet, and former professor of English literature at Tulane University. He was educated at the University of Michigan and died in Michigan in 1951. He is the author of Little dust, and other poems as well as An introduction to the study of poetry.
