Scope and Contents: This collection consists of Arthur William Hyland's papers accumulated while working for the New Orleans Cotton Exchange. Included in the collection are certificates, newspaper clippings, photographs, professional correspondence (1930-1964), programs, annual reports, publications on the cotton industry, a handbook on the charter and by-laws of the Cotton Exchange, a book on the history of the Cotton Exchange, membership lists, as well as speeches. Hyland served on numerous committees at the Cotton Exchange before being named to the Board in 1962.
