Scope and Contents: Frances Bryson Moore was a journalist and reporter for the New Orleans Morning Tribune (1929-1939), then a reporter and women's page editor of the New Orleans Item (1939-1946). She then became a freelance writer and public relations director for the City of New Orleans. The collection reflects both her professional career and her personal life, including her interest in renovating Vieux Carré and Uptown buildings. There are notes, clippings, correspondence, research material, copies of the column she wrote, manuscript material, a school yearbook, photographs, sketches, and invitations in the collection.
