Farm journal, 1782-1870 | Louisiana Research Collection

Scope and Contents: The collection consists of a farm journal and loose pages from the journal. The journal was used three different ways at different times. First, as an account book listing goods purchased and signed Dubisson (1782-1793); next by Sidoine Pichon as a day book with a schedule of work by slaves (1845-1846), and finally as a day book by a farmer and boat outfitter listing goods hauled by the boat (1866-1870). The journal is primarily in French with some English.
