Biographical Note

The Jewish Burial Society of Congregations Anshe Sfard and Chevra Thilim performs the Orthodox rituals of preparation for burial in accordance with Jewish law, or Halakhah. Congregation Anshe Sfard is Orthodox whereas Chevra Thilim is considered a Conservative congregation.
