Name: Beckjord, Philip R.

Historical Note: Philip M. Beckjord was professor of public health administration at Tulane University. As a doctor in the United States Army during World War II, he reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was Battalion Commander of the 324th Medical Battalion of the 99th Infantry Division from 1942 until the end of World War II.
