Historical Note: Frances Bryson Moore (1895-1977) was a journalist and reporter for the New Orleans Morning Tribune 1929-1939), then a reporter and women's page editor of the New Orleans Item (1939-1946). She then became a freelance writer for a number of national magazines and acting assistant public relations director for the City of New Orleans. Moore also did public relations for the Louisiana State Museum. She was interested in renovating Vieux Carré and Uptown buildings.
