Name: Fazende family.

Historical Note: The Petitpain, Fazende, and related families papers (Manuscripts Collection 617) were inherited by Mary Fazende. F. Leonce Fazende was her father and Douglas Petitpain was her uncle. Related families include the Faure, Leseur, and Letourneaux families. They lived near Bayou Castin and had a land dispute during the early nineteenth century.
