Related families include the Kahn, Greenblatt, Joseph, and other families of New Orleans and Mandeville. The first box includes photographs of Levy family members, their store and their butcher shop.

Biographical Note for Weinstein, Boris, 1930- : Most of the materials in this collection were collected by Dr. Boris Weinstein. Weinstein was a faculty member at the University of Washington Department of Chemistry, where he worked for nearly 20 years until passing away in 1983. He and his wife Barbara had two sons, William and Michael.
