Reuter's Seeds for
the South

This online exhibit showcases catalog covers from Reuter's Seeds, a New Orleans supplier of seeds, bulbs, plants, and other gardening products. Founded by Chris Reuter, who, as noted in earlier catalogs, was the "South's foremost seedsman". Of special note, is the cover for the 1919 Spring catalog, which shows Reuter's new location, at 1033 Decatur Street, and illustrates their importance as a nation wide company. The 1928 Spring issue shows their new headquarters at 320 North Carrollton Avenue.
This exhibit was created by Kevin Williams.
