Thompson, is about the life of Albert Baldwin Wood (1879-1956), who was a prominent engineer and executive with the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board. He designed the pumps for the drainage system for the city. In 1939 he was named head of the Sewerage and Water Board and held that position until his death.
